DogWatch® Hidden Fences keep your pets safe. The Hidden Fence creates a secure boundary to keep your pets safely in your yard and away from places you don’t want them, such as gardens, swimming pools and driveways. With a Hidden Fence, your pets can run, play and exercise so they stay happy and healthy. Hidden Fences are also commonly known as wireless fences, underground fences, invisible fences, and electric fences for dogs.
Battery Status Alerts
Sends an alert when it’s time to replace the SmartCollar™ battery. A notification will appear on the WebApp and will disappear when the battery is replaced.
Boundary Wire Alerts
Sends an alert if the boundary wire is disconnected or broken. A notification will appear on the Web App and will disappear when the boundary wire is repaired.
Power Loss Alerts
Sends an alert if the power goes out and the Transmitter starts running on PowerPak™ battery back-up. A notification will appear on the WebApp and will disappear when the Transmitter is reconnected to power.
Collar Connectivity Alerts
Sends an alert if your SmartCollar does not connect with the Communication Portal – for example, if your collar’s battery is dead, if your collar is damaged from a dog chew or if the collar is out of range of the Portal. A notification will appear on the Web App and will disappear when the SmartCollar™ reconnects to the Portal.
Transmitter Connectivity Alerts
Sends an alert if the Portal loses its connection with the Transmitter for more than one hour. This could be triggered by a loss of power, lightning or surge damage. A notification will appear on the Web App and will disappear when the Transmitter signal reconnects to the Portal.
Customizable Notifications
Set which Alerts you want turned ON or OFF. You can also choose between email notifications, text message notifications or both.
Add Additional Contacts
You can add multiple contacts – such as family members, pet sitters or dog walkers – and choose which text message/email alerts you want them to receive.
Activity Tracking
Monitor your pet’s daily, weekly, and monthly activity levels. Find out if your dog has been Active, Moderately Active, Lightly Active, or Resting.
Monitor System Settings
Review your system settings anytime, anywhere. The SmartFence® WebApp displays your SmartCollar™’s training level and the Transmitter’s training mode, rate, frequency and range.
Multiple Pet Profiles
Add and track multiple pets within your SmartFence WebApp. Create individualized pet profiles for each pet.

SafeLink®
Our patented digital SafeLink® FM technology provides the maximum protection against false activation caused by stray radio signals. FM technology is less prone to interference than the AM systems used by other brands, and that makes DogWatch the most secure hidden fence available.
Receiver Status Light
DogWatch receivers have a unique status light that provides valuable information to help keep your pet safely in your yard. It also lets you know if the receiver battery is low and if your pet has recently challenged the hidden fence.
Flexible Training Levels
The DogWatch transmitter and receiver offer up to twenty unique options (plus audible only) to ensure safe, appropriate containment for all pets. The settings are easy to understand and user-adjustable (no service call required).
Range Setting
You can adjust the signal range (the distance the signal travels from the hidden wire) to meet the needs of your pet(s): a larger signal distance if you have large animals or a smaller range for small pets.
PowerPak™
Our optional PowerPak keeps your fence working temporarily if you lose power. With a PowerPak, you have added protection to ensure your pet’s safety. Provides up to 8 hours of backup protection.
FastReact®
DogWatch has the fastest reaction time in the industry. If your dog runs at the boundary, the receiver reacts with the warning signal before he reaches the wire, not while he is traveling over it.
AutoMemory®
Our patented AutoMemory feature automatically adjusts the correction after your pet challenges the boundary. This discourages additional boundary challenges. If your pet challenges the boundary with the receiver set to level 4, 5, or 6, AutoMemory will be initiated. For the next 24 hours, the correction will be equivalent to the next level if the dog attempts to re-enter the signal field. For example, if AutoMemory is triggered with the receiver set at level 4, the correction will be equivalent to level 5 for the next 24 hours. After 24 hours with no boundary challenges, the correction returns to the original setting.
TattleTale™
If your pet challenges his boundary, the status light on the receiver double flashes, an indication that you may need to adjust the fence settings. The receiver resets after 24 hours without a boundary challenge. TattleTale™ is a patented safety feature from DogWatch.
Audible Warning Alert
The DogWatch SmartFence® includes an audible warning signal to alert your pet that he is approaching the boundary. Your pet quickly learns to stop at the warning signal – before he reaches the hidden wire

Optional GentleFit™ Contact Posts are easy on your dog’s skin. They are smooth like our standard stainless steel contact posts to minimize friction and low profile for a comfortable Pet-Friendly™ fit.
Automatic Shutdown
The DogWatch system is designed to protect your pet from an over-correction in the unlikely event that your dog stands in the signal field and does not quickly exit. The receiver will automatically reset once the dog leaves the signal field.

They care about their clients and it shows. The installer was professional and very conscientious, being careful to make sure he installed the wires and receiver to be hidden and neat. I also wanted doggie doors installed and they don’t install them but they went out of their way to make sure I was completely satisfied and actually made a call and found someone to install them for me! And Emily is truly a gem. My dog has tons of anxiety due to a very negative prior experience with a training device so he’s required more than 3 sessions. Emily comes faithfully and encourages me each week as he makes progress. I can tell it’s not a burden for her. She’s so knowledgeable and comes up with creative ideas to help him overcome his obstacles. I truly can’t say enough good things about this company! Finally, the DogWalker collar has changed my and my dog’s life! Seriously. My dog is very aggressive around other dogs and walking him was a nightmare and pretty much impossible. When neighbors saw me coming, they would turn around and walk in the opposite direction. Emily recommended the DogWalker and Max was a different dog after one use.
